Innovative concepts through interdisciplinary research!

51 researchers from a wide range of disciplines came together in Aachen:

Doctoral students, postdocs, master’s students and technical staff.

The first catalaix Researcher Workshop was about more than just science – we want to redefine the future of the circular economy!

Our interdisciplinary team from Applied Microbiology, Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Human Material Flows, and Computer Science pursues a common goal: innovative recycling concepts in which catalysis, as a key technology, selectively forms and breaks bonds.

We rely on renewable plastics and energy sources.
The plastics industry needs long-term innovations, and we are driving them forward. Together, we strengthen our team spirit and shape a more sustainable world.
