Interdisciplinary exchange

To promote interdisciplinary exchange and strengthen communication between our doctoral students from different research areas, the heads of the subgroups Chemical and Biological Transformations (Rebecca Sebers, Philipp Demling), Digitalization and Up-Scaling (Moreno Ascani), and Systems Evaluation (Nil Güreli, Julia Schleier) are joining forces to improve research efficiency and synergies.

These meetings provide our researchers with a valuable platform to network, exchange knowledge across disciplines, and initiate new collaborations on new scientific challenges.

By fostering connections between our doctoral students in key focus areas of chemical and biological transformations, digitalization, scalability, and systems evaluation, we not only streamline our research efforts but also foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and impact-driven science.

This integrated approach lays the foundation for a more sustainable future with less pollution and a robust, circular plastics economy.
