The ANTS project, led by catalaix PI Prof. Dr. Kathrin Greiff, is contributing to increasing transparency in the long term. This increase in transparency can be achieved through optical sensors and the use of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, this data can be used to model processes dynamically and material flow-specifically, thus establishing a link between dynamic process chain models at the micro level and dynamic material flow models at the macro level.
This creates a foundation for sustainable material flow management and carbon trading. ANTS is dedicated to developing a quality-oriented material flow model for the plastics industry in Germany and characterizing existing material flows as a basis for identifying and providing suitable carbon-containing material streams for catalysis.
