100 million Swiss francs for the new Research Centre catalaix!

The Werner Siemens Foundation (WSS) celebrated its centennial anniversary in 2023. To mark the occasion, the Foundation launched its “project of the century” — an ideas competition for a WSS Research Centre dedicated to researching and developing technologies for the sustainable use of natural resources. A winner has now been selected from the one hundred and twenty-three proposals submitted: the award of a ten-year WSS grant of one hundred million Swiss francs goes to the project “catalaix: Catalysis for a circular economy” at RWTH Aachen University.
